Somalian-born Canadian and journalist, Hodan Nalayeh traveled to Somalia last week to prove Somalia is a “beautiful” country and hoped to challenge the “stereotypes” of how the country is being portrayed.
Unfortunately for the journalist, it was reported she was killed by Islamic terrorists.
On her visit, she often tweeted about her birthplace, and that of Ilhan Omar, to document and tell uplifting stories.
Here are some of those tweets:
The island of #Ilisi is an hour away from #Kismayo and only local fishermen live there. It’s so clean & breathtaking. A perfect place for a day swim with the family. #Somalia pic.twitter.com/xwnx05SpIo

Just two days before her death, Nalayeh tweeted about how much fun she was having in Kismayo and the neighboring island of Ilisi saying,
It’s so clean & breathtaking. A perfect place for a day swim with the family.
Unfortunately, it was reported that on July 12, al-Shabaab terrorists stormed the Asasey Hotel in Kismayo. During the terrorist attack, 26 people were killed including 43-year-old Hodan Nalayeh and her husband.
It was only later known that Nalayeh was pregnant.

Perhaps this will make Rep. Ilhan Omar and other libtard politicians who bad-mouth the United States realize just how lucky they are to live in such a great nation.
It’s highly doubtful though.
Was President Trump right in telling those politicians who bad-mouth the United States to go back to their countries?
Do you think it was racist of him to say it?
