AOC wanted to show the African American community she’s got a lil “soul power” when speaking to a group of black people. She’s officially become Hillary Clinton 2.0!
AOC complained that it was “so hurtful” that she was called out for the way she talked to black audience members at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network in New York City.
Hillary Clinton tried to pull off the same stunt when speaking to black audience members in the past, which makes you wonder if the socialist darling is taking plays right out of Clinton’s racial playbook.
Here’s a snippet of AOC’s speech compared to Hillary Clinton’s speech:

Of course, she didn’t take the criticism very well and fired back in a tweet saying:
Folks talking about my voice can step right off. Women’s March & Kavanaugh speech, same.
Any kid who grew up in a distinct linguistic culture & had to learn to navigate class enviros at school/work knows what’s up.
My Spanish is the same way.
These conspiracy mills are 🚮. https://t.co/8li33Jd6DL

She continued defending herself with more tweets saying:
As much as the right wants to distort & deflect, I am from the Bronx. I act & talk like it, *especially* when I’m fired up and especially when I’m home.
It is so hurtful to see how every aspect of my life is weaponized against me, yet somehow asserted as false at the same time.

But wait…She’s from the Bronx?
According to news reports, neighbors don’t know who she is or remember seeing her. Ocasio-Cortez spent much of her youth in upscale Westchester County, not the Bronx. Since 2016, AOC has listed the Parkchester condo as her residence on her voter registration form.
But that’s another story.
Now, let’s compare a speech she gave about the then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. It doesn’t appear to use the same accent in either speech:
AOC has often referred to Republicans as racists, xenophobes, and white supremacists. It now appears the pot is calling the kettle black.
Do you think AOC used a play out of Hillary Clinton’s racial playbook?
