While the pregame show was going on, Fox News’ Sean Hannity sat down with President Trump as they discussed some of the ongoing issues we see happening today. As always, President Trump did not hold anything back from the public in this interview.
President Trump hit the topic head-on with the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi by saying, “I think she’s a very confused, very nervous woman. I don’t think she wanted to do this.
I think she really knew what was going to happen, and her worst nightmare has happened. I don’t think she’s gonna be there too long, either. I think that the radical left, and she’s sorta radical left too, by the way, but I think the radical left is gonna take over.”
Other topics were covered, such as the booming economy in America. President Trump lights up like a beacon when he talks about the economy because of the historic numbers set forth.
He has every right to be proud of his accomplishments when it comes to the economy. It is always the number one issue in the booths, and he has no problem when it comes to winning in that department.
In minority groups, the unemployment rates have dropped dramatically. Trump admitted in the interview, no one can touch him in this department. He added, “There’s a revolution going on in this country, and I mean a positive revolution.”
When it came to the discussion on the Democratic National Committee and the debates, Trump let loose on how he feels about the whole thing. He sees the entire thing as a setup when it comes to how the Democrats operate within their own party.
President Trump referred to “crazy” Bernie Sanders and Senator Cory Booker, who is running in the primaries. The DNC changed the rules of the debate to allow Mike Bloomberg to take the stage in the coming debate.
So, Bloomberg is expected to come out of nowhere and stands an excellent chance he may be the candidate who will face Trump. When Trump was asked his thoughts on Bloomberg, he stated, “Uh, very little. I just think of little. You know, now he wants a box for the debates to stand on. OK, it’s OK, there’s nothing wrong. You can be short. Why should he get a box to stand on, OK? He wants a box for the debates. Why should he be entitled to that? Really. Does that mean everyone else gets a box? I would love to run against Bloomberg.”
The topic then moved onto the coronavirus. At the time of the interview, the numbers in America of those who are confirmed to have the virus were up to eight people. It has been one of the hottest topics recently due to how fast and how far the virus has spread in a short amount of time. President Trump assured Hannity that they were watching the spread very closely and focused on containing the virus from spreading.
Trump stated, “Well, we’ve pretty much shut it down, coming in from China. We have a tremendous relationship with China. We’re offering ’em tremendous help. But we can’t have thousands of people coming in who may have this problem, the coronavirus. So, we’re gonna see what happens.”
